“Spiritual food, on the other hand, changes the person who eats it into itself. Thus the effect proper to the Sacrament is the conversion of man into Christ, so he may no longer live, but Christ lives in him; consequently, it has the double effect of restoring the spiritual strength he had lost by his sins and defects, and of increasing the strength of his virtues. “
To pray before Mass
Do you want to be transformed? When we receive Jesus in this Most Blessed Sacrament, it is our opportunity to be changed, to become more Christ-like, to be better able to share what we have been given from God with others. Ask for transformation. Expect it will happen.
